ABOUT ME

My meditation training comes from Buddhist teachers, yogis, internal martial arts, and Western meditation schools.

I’m a life-long practitioner of Yi Chuan Kung Fu, an internal martial art that focuses on healing and personal cultivation.

As an official meditation teacher for the Los Angeles Public Libraries, I’ve clocked hundreds of hours guiding students in meditation.

I’ve also worked as an Intuitive Counselor doing readings and healings for over 2 decades.

I’m a Marketing Executive for successful firms in wellness, entertainment, fashion, and more.

Testimonials

Don is a super balanced meditation teacher. His style is perfect for increasing awareness in all levels. I have really enjoyed the sessions that I’ve been apart of—their simplicity, how they touch on the chakras and even different techniques like open eye meditations. I honestly can say I always feel 100 percent more aware, alive and motivated after a class of his. Thank you Don!

Don Cadora is a budding master who exhibits a vast pool of knowledge. His meditations are a sensory journey of awareness that embody playfulness and neutrality and, with Don’s skillful guidance, empower you to become a more conscious, objective observer of your experiences.

I had never taken a guided meditation class before I joined Don’s class a few months ago. Don’s teaching style and personality are extremely welcoming. He teaches with clarity, calmness and some wonderful humor. From the first class it was easy to tell how much Don loves what he does. He imparts knowledge in an understated and interesting manner. I am extremely grateful for his classes especially at this time. They have been very beneficial and supportive to me. I look forward each week to meditation.

I’m so happy I met Don Cadora through the meditation class he teaches for the Los Angeles Public Libraries. It’s something that I look forward to every Monday morning to start my week off having some clarity and direction. We usually do a grounding exercise and body scan beginning at the feet. We go through each chakra, working our way up to the top of the head. Don uses great ways for us to visualize the process. Sometimes we use colors, & I do even when he doesn’t mention. It’s flexible. We use what is best for us and he gives us many opportunities to use different ways to experience the chakras, often telling us the names used or the feelings they can emote. Usually at the end we visualize a light or sun that goes back down through our body until we get back to the ground, & give a little to the earth. Awareness of what is above us, below us, in front of us, behind us and to each side helps us discover where we are & deepen our experience of being in the ‘Present’ with ourselves. I love it. Especially has been helpful during the recent craziness.

I find this group meditation inspirational, peaceful and focusing. I take these feelings with me for the rest of my day and look forward to the next session. I enjoy meditating with the others in the group. I have been in the group for over a year. Don is very experienced and conducts a excellent session. He went from conducting in-person sessions to virtual sessions, seamlessly. I would encourage anyone to attend his group meditation. Thanks Don!

I’ve found it really helpful to meditate with a group, even in a virtual setting. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, and Don’s meditations are comfortable and accessible to me as somebody who hasn’t previously regularly participated in group meditations.

MY COACHING METHOD

  • Focus

It all starts by learning how to focus on what you want.

  • Reflect

Next, you’ll reflect on what may be blocking you, and learn how to overcome these obstacles.

  • Refine

The last step? We learn how to continually refine what we’ve learned. Think of this as your new beginning.
